Our Story

A Tale of Two Farmers and Their Dream

Founded by Kate and Dave in 2018, we’re a family-run mobile petting zoo dedicated to bringing joy, education, and unforgettable memories to every event. From birthday parties to school visits and assisted living programs, our friendly crew of goats, pigs, bunnies, peacocks, tortoises, and more are here to spread smiles.
What makes us unique? Most of our animals are rescues given a second chance at life — and now they bring happiness to thousands each year. We believe in compassionate care, hands-on learning, and creating experiences that connect people with animals in a safe, fun, and memorable way.
Here, smiles truly begin with Aunt Kate’s Kritters.

At Aunt Kate’s Kritters, our farm is built on three simple values: compassion, connection, and care. We believe every animal deserves respect, every guest deserves a smile, and every event should leave people feeling a little lighter, happier, and more connected to the natural world.

Our philosophy starts with the animals. Most of our furry, feathered, and shelled friends are rescues — “pre-loved” animals who have been given a second chance. They are not just part of our business; they are part of our family. They live in safe, spacious pastures, graze on quality local feed, and enjoy daily care that puts their well-being first.

We also believe in education through experience. When someone meets one of our goats, pets a tortoise, or sees a peacock up close for the first time, they’re not just having fun — they’re learning to appreciate the beauty and importance of living creatures.

Farming for us isn’t just a livelihood — it’s a calling. We milk goats, tend barns, and check on our animals every day because we love them. In return, they bring joy to schools, birthday parties, assisted living facilities, and community events.

Our farm philosophy is simple:

  • Care deeply for every animal.

  • Share generously with our community.

  • Create moments that people will remember forever.

Here at Aunt Kate’s Kritters, farming is about more than animals and land — it’s about creating happiness, one smile at a time.
